Cheese could be used for tooth decay and tooth cavities, it is kind of food that is known as food which digest easily for most people, problems may occur only if a person is lactose intolerant. Cheese contains high protein, amino acids, fat, minerals and vitamins. Also nutrients balance is present in cheese, which plays a beneficial roll for body processes. Some type of cheeses also decrease tooth decay. For instance, chewing the product tend to increase the calcium concentration in tooth plaque and this increase of calcium in tooth plaque, somewhat prevent cavities. So this calcium is very helpful for your dental health.

The other consideration suggest that as you chew or eat cheese that help to increase the saliva in the mouth. When saliva increases it actually helps to clean the mouth with excess food particle that may catch or stay on the teeth or in between of teeth and until you brush your teeth, they can fairly cause tooth decay. When you eat sweets and after that if you eat these acidic products this really helps to wash the sugar particles in the mouth as saliva increase and washes the sugar concentration from your throat and also stop sugar to cause tooth decay. Generally, acidic foods have high in Vitamin C which help against gum disease and it may kill any bacterium that causing bad smell in breath. You can decrease or minimize your gum disease by chewing or eating a piece of cheddar cheese as it contains a lactic acid, and it is believed that lactic acid can possibly decrease gum disease.

Vitamin A is also a vital content present in cheddar or Swiss cheese. It also has high calcium content which helps in maintaining your dental health as calcium tends to reduce tooth cavities. It also contains, phosphorus, fat, salt, protein and potassium in sufficient amount. So if you didn’t get a chance to eat a daily banana then cheddar cheese would be your perfect substitute for daily potassium intake. It also contain Iron, zinc and others in small amount. Vitamin E, K B6, B12, Betaine, Folate and riboflavin also present in small amounts as well.
